Patio and Porch Leveling
Patio slabs and porch approach slabs sit against the house, often over backfilled ground, and often directly beneath where roof water lands. When they settle, the first consequence is usually about water rather than appearance.
The problem with a slab that tilts toward the house
A patio poured to drain away from the wall stops doing that once the outer edge stays put and the inner portion settles. Water then runs to the wall and sits there. That is the condition most people are actually trying to fix when they ask about patio leveling — the uneven surface is the visible half of it.
Restoring the elevation can restore the original drainage where settlement caused the reversal. It cannot fix a slab that never had fall in the first place, or a downspout discharging onto the slab.

Intact slabs that have dropped are reasonable candidates for lifting, and lifting keeps the existing layout. Replacement enters the conversation when the concrete is fragmented, the surface has deteriorated widely, or you want to change the patio anyway — a different size, a different material, or a different drainage design. In that last case, leveling the old slab is money spent on something you plan to remove.

Can a patio be lifted without disturbing the pavers or furniture around it?
Furniture and planters need to move off the working area. Adjacent hardscape is a site-specific question — worth raising when a provider walks the patio.
My porch slab has dropped away from the house. Is that serious?
A separation between an exterior slab and the house is common where backfill has settled, and it is usually a slab issue rather than a structural one. If you are seeing movement in the structure itself, get a qualified onsite opinion.
Is pool deck leveling the same thing?
